Alyth Pictish Cross-Slab
Alyth, Perthshire
Pictish Stone Class II Canmore

In the porch of the church at Alyth is this cross slab.

On the rear face is a double disc and Z-rod (one of the discs has broken away).

The cross side has a relatively plain latin cross, incised rather than in relief with a simple (and fairly poorly executed) incised interlaced pattern and decorated outside with four simple incised spirals.
